Recent growth and expansion of our business has provided an opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to join our multi award winning Service Team as an Automotive Apprentice at our Wynnum dealership.

With recent technological advancements plus the growth in alternative power sourced vehicles including electric cars, there’s never been a better time to start in this exciting role!

We have some excellent long term staff in our business that can act as mentors that have also grown, developed and progressed from the same role. One of our current General Managers has been with us for over 25 years and started as an apprentice Technician!

The successful applicant will have:

• Willing to commit to a 4-year apprenticeship

Duties and responsibilities for this role:

• Duties as required of a 1st year apprentice
• Assist Qualified Technicians and Service Managers to complete tasks

We expect you to have your P plate licence within 3 months of starting the role as it is imperative that you can safely operate a vehicle.

The ideal applicant will have a high work ethic and the ability to communicate openly while multi-tasking.

A genuine customer focus (for both our internal and external customers), and the ability to problem solve, organise and prepare correct documentation are some of the skills required along with technical aptitude.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone who has a passion and understanding of the Automotive industry and wants to formalise their career.

Throughout your apprenticeship you will receive on the job support from your team members and mentors plus attend training with a registered training organisation. On completion of this apprenticeship, you will receive a nationally recognised qualification.

We are offering an attractive remuneration package for outstanding performance, along with ongoing training and support.

Hours and Remuneration:

• Base salary commensurate with experience
• Monthly bonuses/commissions and Incentives
• Salary and bonuses combined will provide an excellent income
• Hours are usually Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays - subject to business needs

This role is for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor, however we would consider your application if you have extensive face-to-face Customer service experience in other industries.
